Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Milford Eagles (Milford, NE) and the host Fillmore Central Panthers (Geneva, NE), saw Milford's basketball squad hold off Fillmore Central by a tally of 22-15.
With the victory, Milford improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Aurora (Aurora, NE) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
