Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA), 61-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Albemarle upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Fleming (Roanoke, VA) to play the Colonels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Colonels come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Fleming won 47-43 in their recent non-league bout against George Washington (Danville, VA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Patrick Henry will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 52-40 non-league win over Glass (Lynchburg, VA).
