The Anson Bearcats basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Gray Stone Day Knights to 30 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bearcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Stanly for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5.
The Knights (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Moore (Robbins, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
