The Avon Park Red Devils basketball team (Avon Park, FL), was nudged 35-31 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lake Wales Highlanders (Lake Wales, FL)

The Highlanders now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sebring for a non-league battle on Friday, December 8.

The Red Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL). The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, DeSoto County was nudged by Sebring (Sebring, FL), 65-9, in a non-league battle.
