Central Kitsap Cougars (Silverdale, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bainbridge Spartans (Bainbridge Island, WA), 57-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central Kitsap upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cougars host Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA) to play the Seahawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Peninsula lost 49-43 in their recent non-league bout against Olympia (Olympia, WA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Sequim Wolves (Sequim, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Bainbridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 52-39 non-league loss to Klahowya (Silverdale, WA).
