Columbia River Rapids (Vancouver, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Skyview Storm (Vancouver, WA), 59-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Columbia River upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Rapids travel to Woodland (Woodland, WA) to play the Beavers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Beavers come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Woodland won 37-23 in their recent non-league bout against Kalama (Kalama, WA)

Next up, the Storm play the Black Hills Wolves (Tumwater, WA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 2. Skyview will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 69-42 non-league win over Eatonville (Eatonville, WA).
