Notre Dame (SO) Knights (Sherman Oaks, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), 72-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Notre Dame (SO) upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights host Alemany (Mission Hills, CA) to clash with the Warriors in a bout on Friday, January 12. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Hamilton Yankees (Los Angeles, CA) in a bout, on Monday, December 4. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Yankees go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 49-43 non-league loss to Bernstein (Hollywood, CA).
