Southridge Suns (Kennewick, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA), 67-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southridge upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Suns travel to Selah (Selah, WA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Selah won 76-52 in their recent non-league bout against Toppenish (Toppenish, WA)

Next up, the Saxons clash with the Chiawana Riverhawks (Pasco, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Ferris will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Riverhawks go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 45-44 non-league win over Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA).
