West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), 67-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Caldwell upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Watauga (Boone, NC) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Watauga won 52-40 in their recent non-league bout against Avery County (Newland, NC)

Next up, the Panthers play the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Hibriten will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
