Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Peru Tigers (Peru, IN), 52-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kokomo upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildkats travel to Lewis Cass (Walton, IN) to clash with the Kings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Kings go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN) in a bout, on Friday, December 8. Peru will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 40-36 league win over Wabash (Wabash, IN).
