Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Payson Lions (Payson, UT), 72-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Salem Hills upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Skyhawks host American Heritage (American Fork, UT) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Lions play the Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Payson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
