In Friday's non-league challenge, the Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO) ice hockey team nudged the host Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO), by a margin of 3-2.
The Wolverines now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenwood Springs for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2.
The Huskies (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Rangers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Lewis-Palmer was edged by Chatfield (Littleton, CO), 5-1, in a non-league challenge.
