The Portola Tigers basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Chester Volcanoes to 56 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lassen for a non-league game on Saturday, December 6. Portola will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 69-30 non-league loss to Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Chester falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Volcanoes travel to Paradise Adventist Academy (Paradise, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 2. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 0-0.
