    • Indiana High School Basketball - Victory Christian Academy nips Marquette Catholic

    December 1, 2025: Valparaiso, IN 46383

    The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Victory Christian Academy Lions (Valparaiso, IN) and the visiting Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN), observed Victory Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Marquette Catholic by a count of 61-55.

    The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Calumet New Tech was tipped by Highland (Highland, IN), 59-54, in a non-league contest.

    In their next game, the Blazers battle the New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 4. Marquette Catholic will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 50-44 non-league loss to Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN).
