The Mountainburg Dragons defeated the host Cedarville Pirates basketball squad by a final score of 49-36 in Monday's non-league outing.

Coming up next, the Dragons play the Life Way Christian Warriors (Centerton, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 5. Mountainburg will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 55-29 non-league win over Providence Academy (Rogers, AR).

The Pirates (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Booneville (Booneville, AR). The Bearcats come into the 3A Region 4 test with a 2-0 record.
