South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA), 45-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, South Allegheny upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Gladiators travel to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 11. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-0. West Allegheny won 29-21 in their recent non-league bout against Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA)
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 11. Carlynton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Quakers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 29-21 non-league loss to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA).
