Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Garden City Cougars (Garden City, MI), 57-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Huron upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Chiefs host Jefferson (Monroe, MI) to clash with the Bears in a Huron bout on Thursday, December 16. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Jefferson won 39-18 in their recent non-league bout against Melvindale (Melvindale, MI)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Robichaud Bulldogs (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Western Wayne bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Garden City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 86-74 non-league loss to Glenn (Westland, MI).
