In Friday's non-league outing, the Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI) basketball squad beat the visiting Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI), by a margin of 40-26.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record.

The Mavericks now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host South Lyon East for a Lakes Valley outing on Tuesday, December 14. Milford will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 68-55 non-league loss to West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
