Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA), 71-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 11. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Ponderosa lost 57-43 in their recent non-league bout against Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Delta Saints (Clarksburg, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Pierce will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
