Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) and the visiting Academy Park Knights (Sharon Hill, PA), saw Springfield's basketball squad knock off Academy Park by a tally of 52-39.

With the victory, Springfield improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Harriton (Rosemont, PA) to play the Rams in a Central challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Harriton lost 72-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Interboro (Prospect Park, PA)

Next up, the Knights play the Coatesville Red Raiders (Coatesville, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 17. Academy Park will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
