    • California High School Basketball - Aptos can't hold off Lincoln

    December 10, 2022: San Jose, CA 95126

    The Lincoln Lions basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Aptos Mariners to 52 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.

    The Lions now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monta Vista for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Lincoln will battle a Matadors team coming off a 60-51 non-league win over De Anza (El Sobrante, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 2-3.

    The Mariners (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Condors come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, North Monterey County was nudged by Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA), 45-37, in a non-league contest.
