Bonanza Bengals (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes (Phoenix, AZ), 67-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bonanza upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Bengals host Pahrump Valley (Pahrump, NV) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Pahrump Valley won 68-35 in their recent non-league bout against Equipo Academy (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Heritage Academy Heroes (Laveen, AZ) in a 2A West bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Arizona Lutheran Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Heroes go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 43-35 non-league loss to Scottsdale Preparatory Academy (Scottsdale, AZ).
