The Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Castlemont Knights (Oakland, CA), 74-27 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Mt. Diablo was trounced by Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA), 98-69, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Emery for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 15. Castlemont will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 70-56 non-league loss to Cristo Rey De La Salle (Oakland, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-5.
