The New Hope Trojans basketball team (Columbus, MS), was nudged 49-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS)
The Lions now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Falkner for a 1A Region 1 battle on Friday, December 16.
The Trojans (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record.
