The George Rogers Clark Cardinals (Winchester, KY) basketball felled the host Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY), 70-57 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY). The Thorobreds go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Harrison County thwarted Boone County (Florence, KY), 60-47, in a non-league test.
The Tomcats now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Boyd County for a District 64 test on Tuesday, December 13. Blazer will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 79-69 non-league win over Pikeville (Pikeville, KY). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.
