The Floyd Broncos basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Carrizozo Grizzlies to 33 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Broncos now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clovis Christian for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19.
The Grizzlies (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Cloudcroft ran past Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM), 33-32, in a non-league contest.
