Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Crater Comets (Central Point, OR), 40-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Willamette upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to North Eugene (Eugene, OR) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 1-5. North Eugene lost 54-43 in their recent non-league bout against South Medford (Medford, OR)

Next up, the Comets play the Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Crater will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 80-47 non-league win over North Eugene (Eugene, OR).
