Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Creek can't hold off Guyer

The Guyer Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars to 55 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marcus for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Guyer will battle a Marauders team coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Everman (Everman, TX). The Marauders record now stands at 7-6.
The Cougars (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX). The Bobcats enter the 6A Region III District 17 contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Cy-Fair was nudged by Dickinson (Dickinson, TX), 62-58, in a non-league contest.
