Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX), 60-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Decatur upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Eagles host Kennedale (Kennedale, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Kennedale won 56-44 in their recent non-league bout against Regents (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Bell Blue Raiders (Hurst, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Fossil Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Blue Raiders go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 71-43 non-league loss to Denton (Denton, TX).
