In Saturday's non-league outing, the El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX) basketball squad edged the host MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX), by a margin of 59-54.
The Ricebirds (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Memorial (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Memorial was tipped by Dekaney (Houston, TX), 41-40, in a non-league outing.
The Generals now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Eisenhower for a 6A Region II District 14 outing on Friday, December 16. MacArthur will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 78-54 non-league loss to Keller (Keller, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-9.
