Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME), 74-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Foxcroft Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Ponies travel to Central (East Corinth, ME) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Central lost 63-52 in their recent league bout against Sumner (East Sullivan, ME)

Next up, the Shiretowners play the Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Houlton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 60-50 league loss to Old Town (Old Town, ME).
