Texas High School Basketball - Gateway Christian tipped by Highlands

The Highlands Blazers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Gateway Christian Eagles to 36 in the Blazers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blazers now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fellowship Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Highlands will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 47-39 non-league win over Harvest Christian (Watauga, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-5.

The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Town East Christian (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Town East Christian nudged Prairie Lea (Prairie Lea, TX), 55-54, in a non-league contest.
