New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Giddings Buffaloes (Giddings, TX), 61-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, New Waverly upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bellville (Bellville, TX) to play the Brahmas in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Brahmas come into the bout with a record of 7-0. Bellville won 55-44 in their recent non-league bout against Smithville (Smithville, TX)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Giddings will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record.
