The Glenbrook North Spartans basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Highland Park Giants to 38 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maine South for a Central Suburban - South contest on Friday, December 16. Glenbrook North will battle a Hawks team coming off a 52-50 league loss to Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 1-6.

The Giants (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Warriors come into the Central Suburban - North contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Deerfield triumphed over Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL), 59-53, in a non-league contest.
