The Haverford Fords basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Great Valley Patriots to 37 in the Fords non-league victory on Saturday.

The Fords now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conestoga for a Central contest on Tuesday, December 13. Haverford will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 42-30 non-league win over Hatboro-Horsham (Horsham, PA). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-1.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sun Valley (Aston, PA). The Vanguards come into the Ches-Mont - American contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Sun Valley dropped by Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA), 45-29, in a league contest.
