Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hot Springs County Bobcats (Thermopolis, WY), 49-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wheatland upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Burns (Burns, WY) to play the Broncs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Broncs go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Burns lost 57-35 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast (Yoder, WY)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Glenrock Herders (Glenrock, WY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Hot Springs County will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Herders enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 48-35 non-league loss to Rocky Mountain (Cowley, WY).
