Florida High School Basketball - Houston Academy nips Shorecrest Prep

Houston Academy Raiders (Dothan, AL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Shorecrest Prep Chargers (St. Petersburg, FL), 43-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Houston Academy upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Raiders host Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Monday, December 12. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Cottonwood lost 55-44 in their recent non-league bout against Dale County (Midland City, AL)
Next up, the Chargers play the Northeast Vikings (St. Petersburg, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Shorecrest Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
