Orangefield Bobcats (Orangefield, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX), 63-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Orangefield upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Bobcats host Vidor (Vidor, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Vidor won 69-41 in their recent non-league bout against Evadale (Evadale, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Lumberton Raiders (Lumberton, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 bout, on Friday, December 16. Jasper will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
