The Rantoul Eagles tipped the visiting Kankakee Kays basketball team by a final score of 44-41 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Centennial Chargers (Champaign, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 13. Rantoul will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Chargers come into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL).
The Kays (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Southland College Prep (Matteson, IL). The come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Southland College Prep edged Unity Christian Academy (South Holland, IL), 65-45, in a non-league contest.
