Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mountlake Terrace Hawks (Mountlake Terrace, WA) and the visiting King's Knights (Seattle, WA), saw Mountlake Terrace's basketball squad hold off King's by a tally of 73-69.

With the victory, Mountlake Terrace improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Hawks host Stanwood (Stanwood, WA) to play the Spartans in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Stanwood won 64-54 in their recent league challenge against Cascade (Everett, WA)

The Knights now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Seattle Academy for a 1A Emerald Sound test on Friday, December 16.
