The Lubbock Christian Eagles basketball team (Lubbock, TX), was nudged 41-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Melissa Cardinals (Melissa, TX)
The Cardinals now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aubrey for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 13. Melissa will battle a Chaparrals team coming off a 75-69 non-league win over Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Chaparrals record now stands at 8-1.
The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Littlefield (Littlefield, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record.
