The Mineral County Serpents ran past the host Virginia City Muckers basketball team by a final score of 62-45 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Serpents face the Lone Pine Golden Eagles (Lone Pine, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 13. Mineral County will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a 1-3 record after their 58-44 non-league loss to Bishop Union (Bishop, CA).
