The West Middlesex Big Reds basketball team (West Middlesex, PA), was overwhelmed 68-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA)

The Lancers now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freedom Area for a WPIAL 3A 1 battle on Friday, December 16. Neshannock will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 82-44 non-league loss to Rochester (Rochester, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-6.

The Big Reds (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA). The Greyhounds come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Wilmington was overwhelmed by Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA), 68-32, in a non-league battle.
