The Porterville Panthers (Porterville, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA), 51-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Santa Ynez (Santa Ynez, CA). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Santa Ynez notched a victory over East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA), 70-30, in a non-league test.
The Titans now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Christian Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Nipomo will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 78-15 league win over Shandon (Shandon, CA). The Lions record now stands at 3-1.
