Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Winnfield Tigers (Winnfield, LA) and the visiting Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA), saw Winnfield's basketball squad knock off Pineville by a count of 60-45.
With the victory, Winnfield upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Rapides (Lecompte, LA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 9-4.
Next up, the Rebels play the Rapides Mustangs (Lecompte, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Pineville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 49-37 non-league win over Acadiana (Lafayette, LA).
