The Struthers Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Western Reserve Blue Devils to 47 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Girard for a Northeast 8 contest on Tuesday, December 13. Struthers will battle a Indians team coming off a 44-43 non-league win over Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH). The Indians record now stands at 3-1.
The Blue Devils (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Waterloo (Atwater, OH). The Vikings come into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Waterloo prevailed over Rootstown (Rootstown, OH), 58-42, in a non-league contest.
