Colorado High School Basketball - Valley knocked off by Thornton

December 10, 2022: Gilcrest, CO 80623

The Thornton Trojans basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Valley Vikings to 33 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alameda for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Thornton will meet a Pirates team coming off a 68-30 non-league loss to Kennedy (Denver, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 0-2.

The Vikings (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson Academy (Broomfield, CO). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Jefferson Academy ran past Jefferson (Edgewater, CO), 66-47, in a non-league contest.
