The Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting M.L. King Lions (Lithonia, GA), 55-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Morrow (Morrow, GA). The Mustangs go into the test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Morrow went down by Woodland (Stockbridge, GA), 55-22, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Eagle's Landing for a non-league test on Thursday, December 15. M.L. King will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-28 non-league win over Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
