South Dakota High School Basketball - Menno knocked off by Alcester-Hudson

The Alcester-Hudson Cubs basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Menno Wolves to 35 in the Cubs league triumph on Saturday.

The Cubs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hills-Beaver Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Alcester-Hudson will meet a Patriots team coming off a 55-52 league win over Murray County Central (Slayton, MN). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.

The Wolves (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Scotland (Scotland, SD). The Highlanders enter the B Region 4 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Scotland ran past Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD), 38-14, in a non-league contest.
