The Lakeview Charter Lions basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins to 34 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Oaks CES for a North Valley contest on Wednesday, December 14. Lakeview Charter will battle a Vanguards team coming off a 58-8 non-league loss to Panorama (Panorama City, CA). The Vanguards record now stands at 0-2.

The Griffins (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Valor Academy (Van Nuys, CA). The enter the Central Valley contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Valor Academy was nudged by Stern (Los Angeles, CA), 50-9, in a non-league contest.
